Art for each puzzle is carefully printed directly onto 6mm thick wood and then laser-cut following a unique, thematic puzzle pattern inspired by the artwork itself. The interesting and irregular pieces fit together in unexpected ways, each shape offering a clue about its place in the bigger picture. Rock Flour Blue captures the deepest teal blue of Moraine Lake, an iconic protected lake in Banff National Park. This Canadian landmark lake is framed by the spectacular Valley of the Ten Peaks and it was depicted on the back of Canada’s 20-dollar bill for a decade from 1969-1979.
