“This candle has been a game-changer for family dinners!”

This special candle is created from pure essential oils to support dignified communication. Kandis developed a unique blend of Silver Fir, eucalyptus, and clementine orange to promote emotional neutrality, and encourage joyful discourse. We love burning this candle during family dinner, social gatherings, and even at the office.

Non-GMO, organic soy wax, wood wick
Pure essential oils of tobacco blossom and frankincense
100% natural plant-based fragrance oils

Points to be aware of—wood wicks
All of the Elixirs for Life candles are made with natural wood wicks—mostly because Kandis loves the way they crackle. But she also use wood wicks because the energy of the botanicals is best supported by a natural wood flame. Because the wood is a natural product, there are variations in the way they behave, and occasionally some can be tricky to light. We suggest lighting your candle with a lighter rather than matches, simply because you can hold the flame to the wick for a longer period of time until the flame catches the wood. Caring for a wood wick takes a little bit more care than a cloth wick, but not so much as a bonsai tree. It’s important to carefully trim the wick, once it is completely cooled, so that about 1/4 of an inch is exposed. If there is too much wick exposed, it can create a large flame with lots of soot. If there is not enough wick exposed then the candle can be difficult to light. Points to be aware of—candle safety
Some of this may seem obvious but, we can all use a friendly reminder from time to time! Keep candles out of reach of children and pets. If you have a pet octopus, or many children this may be difficult :) Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep wood wick trimmed to 1/4” and centred to prevent a large flame.
