Panther Valley Bison Ornament

Each ornament is handmade, at Calgary, by Dani with the pictures, also taken by Dani, as her source of inspiration. Each layer is stained by hand and stain colours will vary from ornament to ornament, but the first inner layer of this piece will always be white.

In July 2018, Parks Canada released 31 bison from Elk Island National Park into the Panther Valley in Banff National Park and every year their population grows! After an absence of over a century, the return of wild plains bison is a historic, ecological and cultural triumph.
